6. Instructions and precautions
1. Motor stall
Fault reason: the polarity of speed feedback is wrong.
1.Treatment method:
If possible, turn the position feedback polarity switch on
1.To another location. ((some drives can)
2. If a tachometer is used, switch the tach + and tach - on the driver.
3. If encoder is used, connect enca and encb on the driver.
4. In case of Hall speed mode, switch hall-1 and hall-3 on the driver, and then connect motor-a and motor-b.
2. Fault reason: when the encoder speed feedback, the encoder power supply loses power.
Processing method: check and connect 5V encoder power supply. Make sure that the power supply can supply enough current. If using an external power supply, make sure that the voltage is signaled to the driver.
2. The LED is green, but the motor doesn't move
1. Fault reason: the motor in one or more directions is forbidden to act.
Processing method: check the + inhibit and - inhibit ports.
2. Fault reason: the command signal is not to the driver signal ground.
Processing method: connect the command signal ground with the driver signal ground.
