7. Common faults of servo motor
(1) Mechanical failure caused by servo motor operation. This kind of fault is caused by pulse encoder fault, pulse encoder cross shaft damage and speed generator fault.
(2) When the motor is powered on, it is very fast. This condition is commonly known as runaway. At this time, the common fault causes are whether the pulse encoder wiring is wrong, whether the pulse encoder coupling is damaged, and whether the terminal of the tachometer generator is connected reversely and whether the excitation signal wire is connected wrongly.
(3) The main axis of the equipment cannot be moved in the direction or not in place. This kind of fault is mostly caused by the circuit problems of the equipment, such as short circuit, loose terminal, encoder circuit.
(4) The axis feed oscillates when the motor is working. In this case, check the connection between motor coil, mechanical feed screw and motor, servo system, pulse encoder, coupling and tachometer.
(5) The device has a servo system alarm. This situation is complicated.
