Precautions

1. Determine the detection object, speed measurement, distance measurement, angular displacement measurement or counting, etc.

2. Dynamic process only or static position or state.

3. Confirm whether to choose incremental rotary encoder or absolute rotary encoder.

4. Determine the range of motion of the object.

5. Confirm whether to choose single turn absolute rotary encoder or multi turn absolute rotary encoder.

6. Determine the maximum speed or frequency of the object.

7. Determine the accuracy requirements of the object.

8. Determine the application parameters for selecting rotary encoder.

9. Use environment, pay attention to the interface mode and protection level of rotary encoder.

10. Please avoid using the graphic surface of the magnetic encoder under the condition of condensation or water drop, otherwise the insulation capacity will be reduced, or short circuit will be caused.


Instructions for regular maintenance

1. The mechanical part needs to check whether the mechanical connection and matching part in the system are loose due to time operation once a month, and check whether the connecting screw of profile support is tightened.

2. Clean the dust on the magnetic encoder every quarter with a special cleaning solution. After cleaning the dust on the magnetic encoder, dry the circuit board with a blower.
